How experienced are the Digby Brown Dundee staff?

Digby Brown is a national firm so our services are available to everyone in Scotland. But there have been occasions where the expertise of our Dundee injury solicitors was relied on by people affected by even the most specialist of cases.

Robert Kernaghan, Partner and Head of the office, helped art teacher Kristina Aburrow recover compensation in a dog bite claims after she was bitten by a Rottweiler.

Our solicitors have also helped people affected by some of the most prolific cases to affect the Tayside area in recent years – such as Sue Grant who acted for victims of the notorious Prof Eljamel.

What do Dundee staff do when they’re not doing legal stuff?

Giving back to communities and helping others is particularly important to our Dundee staff – which can be evidenced by the amazing groups they have supported.

In 2019 the office fundraised for mental health charity Wellbeing Works in honour of a dear colleague and friend who sadly passed away.

In 2020 and 2021 the office then supported the Ninewells Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after the vital efforts of NHS staff were relied on first-hand by a Dundee team member.

In 2022 the office opted to fundraise for the British Heart Foundation again after a Dundee staff member saw the way the BHF helps others following the passing of their father.

2023 saw the office opt to fundraise for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) it is the country’s only charity funded air ambulance.

This year, the office chose to fundraise for the Scottish SPCA.

Above the law

Asbestos Action – a charity that helps people affected by asbestos-related diseases – is based in Dundee and has close links with Digby Brown.

The charity recognises our expertise in Industrial Disease cases and often recommends Digby Brown to service users for help in securing damages and recognition.

Our Digby Brown Dundee office is centrally located and is easily accessible by road with the local bus service stopping at Overgate Shopping Centre which is only a nine minute walk from the office. 
 
There are also various car parks located a few minutes’ walk away from the office; Overgate, Shore Terrace, Crichton Street, Greenmarket multi-storey car park and an open-air car park directly across from the multi-storey.  

The office can be easily reached by rail with the train station less than a five minutes’ walk from the office. The Seagate bus station is also close by, about ten minutes walking distance from the office.
