Simon Richards

Simon graduated in 2006 from the University of Glasgow and joined Digby Brown's Edinburgh office in 2009 as a personal injury solicitor. Simon has worked within Digby Brown’s Foreign and Travel department since its inception and became a partner in July 2019.

Simon deals with accident abroad claims involving Scottish people in foreign countries. This covers all types of accidents including:

• Road traffic accidents abroad
• Workplace accidents abroad
• General holiday accidents
• Accidents on and involving aircraft
• Accidents on sea-going vessels
• Offshore accidents

Simon also acts for foreign nationals injured in Scotland.

Simon has extensive Court experience in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. The majority of the Court work takes place within the Court of Session and the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court.

He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL).
