Sam graduated in Law (LLB Hons) from Glasgow University in 2017 and obtained his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (PGDip) in 2018, also from Glasgow University.
Sam joined Digby Brown in September 2018 as a Trainee Solicitor in the firm's Glasgow office. He completed his traineeship and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2020. He became a Senior Solicitor in 2023 and an Associate in 2024. Sam is also a Notary Public.
Sam has a keen interest in civil litigation and access to justice. He deals with cases in both the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court; he regularly appears in the courts of Scotland on behalf of clients.
He deals with a wide range of cases, specialising in fatal accidents, work related accidents, accidents in public places and road traffic accidents. He also has experience dealing with cases relating to the recovery of evidence under Section 1 of the Administration of Justice (Scotland) Act 1972.
