Paola is a widely experienced and highly motivated personal injury solicitor with a reputation for a dedicated and meticulous approach to meeting clients' needs.

She specialised in Product Liability and was the Principal Solicitor in the case of Hastings -v- Finsbury Orthopaedics Ltd 2022 UKSC taking the campaign for better consumer protection and regulation of medical implants to the Supreme Court. Hastings was the first case in which the UKSC ruled on the meaning of defect under the Consumer Protection Act 1987. Paola has also represented victims of failed PIP breast implants and mesh implants with their personal injury claims.

Paola also specialised in Group Proceedings and was the principal solicitor in the James Finlay Kenya Limited Group proceedings and related litigation in the Court of Session. These claims are brought by approx. 5,000 Kenyan employees of a Scottish company who claim to have been injured by unsafe working practices.
