Joy Bell

Joy Bell joined Digby Brown Solicitors as a trainee in the Network Department in 2013, after attaining her diploma in Legal Practice from the Strathclyde University.
Joy qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and works in the firms Network team. She became an Associate in 2022.
Joy deals with a variety of personal injury claims including negligent care, road traffic accidents, work place accidents and general accidents involving public liability and occupier’s liability.
She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), and also a Notary Public.
Before training as a Solicitor Joy had a career in Nursing working in a range of different clinical settings. For 10 years prior to commencing her Traineeship, she worked as a Tissue Viability Nurse providing education to Nurses on the prevention of pressure ulcers and wound management.
