We can today announce that our time as principal sponsor of St Mirren Football Club came to an end at the close of the 2023/24 season.

To all the St Mirren fans…

It's been a pleasure being part of the St Mirren family and we sincerely hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.

Over the past three years of sponsorship we've witnessed the club's triumphs on the field and have proudly celebrated alongside you.

Fraser Oliver, Chief Executive at Digby Brown, said: “We’d like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone at St Mirren, and all the fans, for their support of the sponsorship across the three years.

“It's been great fun being involved, not only in terms of the team's performance but also in the community-driven initiatives and projects we've joined together to complete which echo our shared values of inclusivity and teamwork.

“I can say with confidence that the bonds forged between Digby Brown, St Mirren and Paisley will endure long beyond the final whistle.”

As we bid farewell to what has been an incredible chapter in our firm's history, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey we've embarked upon together over the past three years…

A ‘Buddie’ good partnership

In 2021, we commenced our first year of sponsorship with the Paisley club, showcasing the Digby Brown logo on both their home and away jerseys.

In 2022 we were proud to strengthen our commitment to the club through a landmark kit deal which saw the Women's team and boy's academy wearing the same strip as the Men's first team – this deal was believed to be a first in top flight Scottish football history.

Throughout the 2022/23 season the black Paisley-patterned away top saw incredible demand, sparking a huge queue of eager Saints fans around the SMiSA Stadium.

We were delighted to see the away strip gaining popularity beyond the stadium, as renowned DJ Ewan McVicar proudly sported it during his Ibiza gigs. (The Scottish DJ Star can still be spotted wearing St Mirren tops at his gigs around the globe).

That same year, Men's first team players attended the firm’s annual Spinal Injuries Scotland BBQ and Activities Day, where they engaged firsthand with how the firm supports the spinal cord injury community through adaptive sports.

In December 2022 we hosted a giveaway and presented three coveted away shirts to lucky Saints at the SMiSA Stadium.

In 2023 we announced that we were ‘on for the hat-trick’ with the club - continuing our principal sponsorship for the third year in a row and committing for a second year to the kit deal which saw the Women's team and boy's academy wearing the same strip as the Men's first team.

The third year of sponsorship with the club was announced via social media in a video filmed between our Glasgow office and the SMiSA Stadium.

We further highlighted our support of the Paisley club for the 2023/24 season through a home shirt reveal video which was featured on STV.

In December 2023 we were honoured to host another bumper giveaway of four 2023/24 home shirts which were presented to the winners at the SMiSA Stadium.

Keith Lasley, Chief Operating Officer at St Mirren FC, added: “Firstly, on behalf of St Mirren Football Club, we want to thank Digby Brown for their support as principal sponsors over the last three seasons.

“The relationship has been successful for both parties and we’ve really enjoyed working with Digby Brown. They have been hugely engaging throughout the sponsorship with the third year ‘going for the hat-trick’ announcement video starring youth team and women’s team players a highlight.

“Both St Mirren and Digby Brown share many of the same values within our organisations and we hope to continue working together in some form over the coming years.”

We’re still here for you, Paisley

As we move forward, rest assured Digby Brown will still be here when you need us. We remain committed to offering our unwavering support, because for us, it's not just about sponsorship, it's about being there for the communities we serve.

So to everyone at St Mirren - the players, the club staff, the fans and the wider Paisley community - you’ve mattered over the last three years, and you’ll continue to matter in the future.

All the best,

Your Buddies,

Digby Brown.
