Industrial Disease team raise thousands with ‘Stride Along the Clyde’ challenge to support asbestos charities

Last week our Industrial Disease team took on a mammoth 22-mile trek to raise funds for Clydebank Asbestos Group and Asbestos Action.
Choosing a route steeped in the history of asbestos usage, the team set off from sunny Balloch around 9am and hugged the River Clyde making their way towards Glasgow.

With more than half of the trek behind them, they stopped off at the International Asbestos Memorial in Clydebank where they received some much needed encouragement from staff at Clydebank Asbestos Group.

Re-energised and with the sun still shining, they continued on and reached the finish line at the Digby Brown office in Glasgow just after 5pm.
The Industrial Disease team has worked closely with Clydebank Asbestos Group and Asbestos Action for many years and know first-hand how much their support means to those suffering from asbestos-related diseases and their families.
The team raised a fantastic £3,460 with their 'Stride Along the Clyde' challenge which will be matched by the firm.
Well done to everyone who organised and took part in this challenge and a heartfelt thank you to those who donated – we know just how much it matters.
