Glasgow team take on December challenge for JMA Trust

The GPIL team in the Digby Brown Glasgow office is tackling an outdoor challenge this December to raise funds for their local charity of the year the JMA Trust.
A total of 15 people are aiming to complete the Marcothon – an annual event that sees participants run for 3 miles or 25 minutes per day, including Christmas Day, for the entire month. So far the team has battled a variety of weather including heavy rain and even snow!
Here are some photos of the team tackling their part of the challenge.
The JMA Trust was set up in memory of John Maurice Aitken and provides support to those in need across the Glasgow area. Recently the support offered has included funding to local food banks, Glasgow Night Shelter as well as emergency funding for families in need.
Annmarie Rocks, CSR Manager for Digby Brown said: “This year has been very tough with trying to support our office charities, however that never stops us trying. For the team to be taking part and even on Christmas Day makes us so proud of all our staff putting in extra effort and thinking of others at this crucial time for many charities. We wish them all the best of luck and a well-earned rest in January”
At time of writing the team has raised more than three quarters of their target of £1,000, you can still donate at their fundraising page.
