Digby Brown staff raise money for Chris's House with Isle of Cumbrae Walk

Isle of Cumbrae Walk

At the end of last month, 12 members of the general personal litigation team in Glasgow challenged themselves to complete a tough trek around the Isle of Cumbrae to raise funds for their local office charity.

The team had been closely watching the weather forecast unsure of what to expect. Thankfully the sun was shining creating perfect walking conditions.

The 18km trek took them along the island’s stunning coastal paths. The terrain was flat and easy to navigate, allowing them to enjoy the scenery while keeping a steady pace. They completed the walk in just three and a half hours taking in the sea views.

The Glasgow office has chosen Chris’s House as their charity partner this year. Chris's House stands for ‘Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide’ and has been set up to offer a safe environment where people in, or approaching, suicidal crisis can have a safe place to go and get professional support.

The team raised an incredible £1,060 which will be matched by the firm.

Well done to everyone who participated in the walk.
