Digby Brown offices raise more than £46,000 for local charities in 2024

Charity total raised in 2024

Staff from Digby Brown were proud to make a real difference in their communities last year raising a fantastic £46,275.04 for local causes.

The great total was achieved by people from across the firm’s seven offices who engaged in a variety of events and initiatives.

Like runners from Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Ayr who completed marathon and ultramarathon challenges across the country, while Glasgow-based Monica ventured further afield to complete the Paris Marathon.

Staff from Ayr successfully climbed Ben Nevis, and a team from Kirkcaldy embraced a unique ‘5k a Day’ challenge, running, walking, cycling or swimming 5k every day in December.

The Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow offices pulled out all the stops with bake sales, tuck shops and quiz nights, while Inverness staff stepped out for a sponsored walk to show their support.

Kirsten Smith, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Digby Brown, said: “We're delighted with the amount of money raised last year - the dedication shown by staff for their chosen charities is a testament to how much they care about making a difference beyond the courtroom.

“Every effort, big or small, matters and helps strengthen the communities we are so proud to be a part of.”

Fraser Oliver, the firm’s Chief Executive, added: “As a firm we are deeply committed to our clients and communities and it matters that we make a difference in more ways than legal advice.

“For years our people have strived to champion causes close to their hearts by engaging in activities nearly every week.

“Sincere congratulations to all who participated or contributed behind the scenes - a very well done to all.”

Digby Brown is already looking forward to helping its new charity partners for 2025 which are:
