Digby Brown Associate completes not one, but two Ultra Marathons!

Lee Murray once again pushed himself to take on another monumental challenge to raise money for the Ayr office’s charity partner of the year.
On Saturday 20th July, Lee took on the gruelling Whitelee Windfarm Ultramarathon covering an exhausting 50km along a gravel trail with a daunting elevation gain of 2,232 feet.
Despite the demanding terrain he powered through and completed the race in an impressive 5 hours and 24 minutes.
Not one to shy away, earlier this month Lee decided to take on the even mightier endurance test - the River Ayr Way Race Ultramarathon.
This event challenged Lee to run the entire length of the River Ayr. It covers a staggering 40 miles from Glenbuck to Ayr with an even more enduring elevation gain of 2,625 feet.
Across both races Lee ran more than 100km - an unbelievable achievement!
Lee’s efforts were in aid of Moving On Ayrshire which provides counselling services at locations throughout South Ayrshire. They offer survivors of sexual abuse and rape free one-to-one person-centred counselling in a safe environment which can enable them to address their issues and helps them work towards a healthier and happier future.
Lee raised £675 for the charity which will be doubled by the firm bringing the total raised to £1,350!
Well done Lee for raising money for a worthy cause.
