Christmas treat boxes baked for Cash For Kids

Helping out at Cash for Kids 2020 - cupcakes

Kimberley Allan from the Digby Brown Glasgow office, took to the kitchen to create bake boxes for children this festive season, all for her local Cash for Kids Mission Christmas. The boxes were made up of Christmas cookies for Santa, Christmas themed cupcakes and other sweet treats. She made exactly 100 Christmas cookies and 100 festive shaped cupcakes in four days!

Kimberley heard about the work Cash for Kids do for local children on the radio and decided to contact them to ask if they would like the boxes. They were delighted to receive such a lovely donation!

The charity Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life limiting illness and those who have additional needs. The boxes are being given as part of the charities Mission Christmas appeal. They are encouraging people to donate gifts to ensure children have something to open on Christmas day.

Annmarie Rocks, Digby Brown’s CSR Manager said “At Christmas time no child should go without and Cash For Kids supports children all over Scotland throughout the year but more so at Christmas time and we are delighted that our colleague Kimberley is helping to make it that little bit more special as we care about our local communities”.

Kimberley delivered 50 treat boxes to Cash for Kids toy warehouse at the Braes Shopping Centre on Thursday the 17th of December. We are sure these boxes will bring a smile to many children’s faces!
